Before becoming an Asbestos testing consultant, Alan had a long career in the building industry, including spending 25 years as a self-employ builder who constructed both residential and commercial buildings. He has advanced building qualifications and spent six years in construction management, including three years for a large residential housing company.
His experience in the building industry means Alan has the knowledge and understanding of construction practices and materials to help people purchase a house that is “safe and sound”, through comprehensive pre-purchase and building inspections.
When he’s not inspecting buildings, Alan enjoys hanging out with his family and friends. He plays squash, tennis, and badminton and enjoys a range of outdoor pursuits including boating, fishing, diving, swimming, hunting, motorbikes and travel.
