About Larry

Ask Larry about his background as a builder and he’ll tell you he’s been involved in the building trade for more than 45 years – mostly in Dunedin. There’s practically no street he doesn’t know or hasn’t worked in.

Aside from building new homes, Larry specialised in restoring many old, heritage homes throughout the city. He’s recently returned to Dunedin after five years inspecting and assessing earthquake damage in Christchurch – including 18 months training inspectors. The qualified carpenter-joiner and Licensed Building Practitioner has also spent many years involved with the building industry at a national level, including Standards NZ’s expert committees.

Outside of work hours Larry loves anything on wheels. He’s a keen road cyclist and is a classic car buff. He also enjoys reading and overseas travel.
